 一路平安。  yīlù píng’ān (it was) a pleasant journey.
 今天上课,  jīntiān shàngkè  Today I went to class,
 先生很和气,  xiānshēng hěn héqì, the teacher/s) is/are very nice,
 同学们也很好,  tóngxuémen yě hěn hǎo, the other students are also fine,
 心里非常快活。  xīnlǐ fēicháng kuàihuó. my heart is very happy.
 望二位大人,  Wàng èr wèi dàrén, I hope the two of you
 好好保养为要。  hǎohǎo bǎoyǎng wèi yào. are doing well.

the translation by William C. White for this line is:
“Your son, Ho-chung [Hé Zhōng], sends this up.”
I’m not quite sure that’s correct for “和中” though.
I’ll try to get back to you on that.
