After thinking about it for a while I have at long last come up with something like a plan for how to continue. Basically, I’ll keep doing what I’ve been doing, but in a slightly less haphazard way. I don’t want to get into too much detail in case something doesn’t work it our I change my mind or something, so here’s just what’s seems most important to know about at the moment:
- Mnemonic Monday: More images I imagine may make Mandarin meanings more memorable.
- Variety Wednesday: Various works, visionary ventures, one-shots, whatever.
- Foundation Friday: For familiarizing yourself with fundamental Chinese characters via Y. C. James Yen’s classic curriculum.
- Surprise Sundays and Special Days: Sporadic sundry stuff (such as this schedule) shall usually show up on Sundays or suiting seasonal celebrations – sometimes simply serendipitously.
Partly in order to include languages besides Mandarin Chinese I’ll gradually restyle the mnemonics. Again. (There’ll be another post with an explanation as to how shortly). I will keep the old versions around in the collections, for a while (at least until the end of January) but eventually I’ll most likely remove those without much prior warning. It just gets too cumbersome and too easy to overlook mistakes with multiple versions of everything.
That’s all for now. Thank you and have a nice day.
